Supporting our local community at the United Way Days of Impact Event
Thank you United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County for the opportunity to volunteer in your first ever Days of Impact event. On Tuesday, April 26th, Asheville Savings Bank employees volunteered their time by helping out both ABCCM Steadfast House, an organization whose mission is to provide stability to homeless women and moms with children by providing education, training and personal skill building and also Homeward Bound of WNC, a nonprofit organization that is working to end homelessness in Buncombe and Henderson Counties of North Carolina.
ASB employees enjoyed being able to give back to our local community by organizing and packaging craft items for the children to use at ABCCM Steadfast House as well as helping Homeward Bound move one of their clients into their new home.

Volunteering at MANNA FoodBank
Thank you MANNA Foodbank for allowing the Asheville Savings Bank Young Professionals (YP) Group members to volunteer at your warehouse. Our project was to help repackage large bulk food items into smaller family size quantities that can then be given out in our local community to people in need. Our group really enjoyed this volunteer opportunity as there is nothing more rewarding and fulfilling than spending time on a project that helps out other people in the community where we all live, work and play.
